Tour Overview

This 7-day Budget Uzbekistan Tour 2026 is a compact cultural journey through the country’s most important historic cities: Tashkent, Khiva, Bukhara, Shakhrisabz, and Samarkand. The program combines guided sightseeing, comfortable overland transfers, 3-star hotel accommodation with breakfast, and visits to major Silk Road landmarks including Khast-Imam Square, Ichan-Kala, Ayaz Kala, Tuproq Kala, Bukhara’s old city monuments, Shakhrisabz heritage sites, Registan Square, Gur Emir Mausoleum, Bibi Khanum Mosque, and the Afrasiyab Museum.

Tour Plan

Your driver will meet you on arrival at Tashkent Airport. Together with a local guide, start the city tour from Khast-Imam Square, home to important historic and religious treasures including the Osman Quran. Continue to the Kukeldash complex and Chorsu Bazaar to experience the local atmosphere and Uzbek street food culture. Afterward, take the metro to see the beautiful Alisher Navoi and Cosmonaut stations, then visit the Museum of Applied Arts. Overnight in Tashkent.

Early in the morning, transfer to the airport for the flight from Tashkent to Urgench. Upon arrival, the driver will meet you and transfer you to Khiva, where luggage can be left at the hotel before check-in. After breakfast, meet the local guide and begin the Khiva excursion. Walk through Ichan-Kala fortress, visit Kunya-Ark fortress, Kalta Minor Minaret, Juma Mosque, Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum, and Islam Khodja Minaret. The tour ends in the afternoon, followed by return to the hotel. Overnight in Khiva.

After breakfast, the driver will pick you up from the hotel for the journey from Khiva to Bukhara. On the way, visit the ancient fortresses of Ayaz Kala and Tuproq Kala with your guide. These historical sites offer a strong glimpse into the ancient culture of Khorezm. After the excursion, continue the trip to Bukhara. Guests are advised to take snacks for the road. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Overnight in Bukhara.

After breakfast, begin a guided tour through the old heart of Bukhara. Visit the Samanid Mausoleum, Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum, Bolo-Hauz Mosque, Ark Fortress, Poi-Kalyan Complex, Ulugh Beg and Abdulazizkhan madrasahs, the trading domes, Lyabi-Hauz Plaza, and Bukhara Synagogue. The tour introduces the city’s Islamic architecture, Silk Road trading history, and multicultural heritage. The tour ends in the afternoon, followed by return to the hotel. Overnight in Bukhara.

After breakfast, meet the driver at the hotel and depart toward Samarkand via Shakhrisabz. Stop in Shakhrisabz for a short excursion including Ak-Saray Complex, Dorut-Tilovat and Dorus-Saodat Complexes, Kok Gumbaz Mosque, and Amir Timur Statue. The excursion usually takes 2-3 hours before continuing the journey to Samarkand. Overnight in Samarkand.

After breakfast at the hotel, meet the local guide and start a full-day city tour of Samarkand. Visit Gur Emir Mausoleum, Registan Square with Ulugbek, Sher-Dor, and Tillya-Kori madrasahs, Bibi Khanum Mosque, and the Afrasiyab Museum. This day gives a deeper look into Samarkand’s history, architecture, and cultural importance. Overnight in Samarkand.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and meet the driver for transfer to Samarkand Airport. Check in for the departure flight and end the Uzbekistan tour.
