 Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival in Tashkent  (dinner)

Upon arrival at Tashkent airport, meet and transfer to the hotel. Our manager will tell you all the information about the upcoming tour of Uzbekistan in detail. Then check in to the hotel for the night and dinner.

Day 2. Tashkent – Urgench – Khiva (breakfast, dinner)

Breakfast, check-out from the hotel, and a city tour of Tashkent with a professional guide will take place before the transfer to the airport. City tour in Tashkent includes the Hasti-Imam Square with the Khazrati Imam Mosque, the Muyi-Muborak Madrasah, which holds the famous Koran of the Caliph Osman, mosques Tilla Sheikh, Barak Khan and mausoleum Kaffal Shashi. Then Kukeldash madrasah, Chorsu bazaar, Mustakilik Square with fountains and Amir Temur Square with the Timurid museum will follow. At the end of the tour in Tashkent, transfer to the airport for flight HY057 to Urgench at 19:30. Arrive at 21:20 at Urgench airport, meet and transfer to Khiva for accommodation at the hotel. A delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant will complete a wonderful second day in Uzbekistan.

3 Day. Khiva (breakfast, dinner)

Breakfast, meeting with a guide in the hotel lobby for a walking tour of Ichan Kala, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tour in Khiva includes the historical sights of Ichan-Kala, located among narrow streets, such as the unfinished minaret, the symbol of Khiva, the Juma mosque with unique columns, the Palvan Mahmud architectural complex, Shergazi Khan madrasah, Islam-Khoja minaret with the madrasah of the same name, Tash-Khauli palace, Anush-khan’s bathhouse, Ak-Sheikh-Bobo bastion. And this is not the whole list of objects included in the tour of Khiva. After the end of the excursion around Khiva, a delicious dinner.

4 Day. Khiva – Bukhara (breakfast, dinner)

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Bukhara through the Kyzyl Kum desert, red sand. On the way, stop on the banks of the Amudarya River to admire its breathtaking view. Then, in the late afternoon, arrive in the long-awaited Bukhara, accommodation in a cosy hotel. Later, before dinner, a vespers stroll through the narrow but attractive streets of the old town. Dinner at the Lyabi-Khauz National Tea House, what could be better than a dinner in the fresh air on the banks of an ancient reservoir in the shade of centuries-old trees with the aromas of gourmet food?

 5 Day. Bukhara – Folklore show (breakfast, dinner)

Breakfast, meeting with a guide in the hotel lobby to begin a city tour in Bukhara. Tour in Bukhara includes the mausoleums Samanid and the Chashma-Ayub, the Bolo-Khauz mosque, the Ark fortress, the Poi Kalyan ensemble with the Kalyan minaret, the Kalyan mosque and the Miri-Arab madrasah. In the post-Soviet space, the Miri-Arab madrasah is considered one of the most revered spiritual Islamic educational institutions. A city tour in Bukhara also includes the following historical sites protected by UNESCO: impressive trading domes, madrasahs of Ulugbek and Abdulaziz-khan, the Bukhara synagogue plunging into nirvana with its pacifying serenity and the popular Lyabi-Khauz ensemble, with the madrasahs of Kukeldash, Khanaka and Nadir-Divan-Begi. In the evening, a folklore show in the Nadir Divan-Begi Madrasah is the best way to get acquainted with the dance traditions of Uzbekistan Dinner at the local restaurant will be the most pleasant moment of the day after a stormy city tour in Bukhara.

6 Day. Drive to a yurt camp with a stop in Nurata (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Breakfast, check out from the hotel,  depart to a yurt camp located in the desert, wherein you can admire the sky of the Milky Way in the evening. On the way to the yurt camp, stop in the village Nurata, where pilgrims from all over Uzbekistan come to drink from the sacred spring Chashma. It is a very famous place of pilgrimage for believers and one of the important religious centres of Islam in the entire region. Chashma feeds a small well and a large pond where thousands of fish swim (Marinka)—visiting the Nur fortress in the Nurata, built by Alexander the Great, and several local houses. After lunch at a local home with local delicacies, transfer to a yurt camp in the middle of the wild desert for accommodation in a yurt, camel riding and dinner under the Milky Way sky by the fire.

7 Day.  Drive to Samarkand with a stop at Aydarkul Lake (breakfast,  dinner)

After breakfast, transfer to Samarkand. Stop at Aydarkul Lake for swimming on the shore of the lake. Arrival in Samarkand, hotel accommodation. The eighth day of the Uzbekistan tour will end with a gourmet dinner at the Karimbek restaurant.

 8 Day.  Samarkand – Tashkent (breakfast, dinner)

Breakfast, meeting with the guide, and beginning the tour of Samarkand. Excursions in Samarkand include the Registan Square, the symbol of Samarkand, where the madrasahs of Ulugbek, Sherdor and Tillya-Kori are located. Next, visit the Gur-Emir mausoleum, the Bibi-Khanum mosque, the Siab bazaar, the Shakhi-Zinda necropolis with unique mausoleums, the Ulugbek observatory with a 40-meter Fakhri sextant.

Your tour will end with a train ride to Tashkent on the Afrasiab train, departing at 17:30. Arrive in Uzbekistan’s capital at 19:40. You’ll be met at the station and taken to a restaurant for a farewell dinner. After dinner, check in the hotel for a good night’s rest before leaving Uzbekistan.

 9 day. Tashkent (breakfast)

Breakfast, checkout from the room and hotel,  transfer to the airport for the flight home.
